Paper Magazines with Video Ads!?

Wow! How have I missed this? I knew the day would come that magazines would have moving pictures and I would be wearing a Dick Tracy watch. Well, this is close enough. This morning, I woke at a friend's house a little earlier than the rest, which never happens, and I began thumbing through a copy of Esquire. My thumb couldn't make its way past a ridiculously thick page that was obviously an annoying ad of some sort. I skipped over it. After my thumbing, I tossed the copy down and it fell open to the thick ad. There, staring me in the face- a video on the magazine page. I couldn't resist. The "play" buttons that called my name pulled up a Chevy truck ad that was clearly targeting me and all the other Esquire-reading, middle-aged men out there. I wanted to rush right out and buy a truck, but managed to jin up just enough will power to stay put. In the end, I looked at my Motorola 360 smart watch, and the video playing in the magazine, and simply stared in awe of my time and place in this world. Next up, Jetson-esque flying cars and Star Trek transporters. (Please)
